My Story

I have been writing since childhood---reading and writing have been integral to my life for as long as I can remember. I've been drawn to fantasy and exploring imagined worlds full of magic, full of dynamic characters, and lore that tantalized my imagination. In adulthood, my intrigue in fantasy expanded, leading me to subgenres of drama, horror, high and low fantasy, and more.

I've wanted to be an author my whole life---to write something that I could share with others, to be proud of, and share with the world. I've written original stories, fanfiction, short stories, and more, always with the dream of finding the courage and desire to make something that I want to share with others. After graduating with a bachelor's in editing and technical writing, after working in the technical writing and instructional design fields, I have now found  that courage and am excited to share my creativity with the world.

On a more personal level: I am happily married to the artist for my books, and I am a cat dad of two. When I'm not writing, I'm reading fantasy novels, playing video games, or playing board games.
